You Made It Through is about finding light in the dark, a tribute to the strength it takes to keep going in times of difficulty.
The original painting is a mixed media piece created by a desire to find beauty even on those bad days. Each time I added another layer, my mood lifted, and things shifted inside my mind. The result is a piece that contains possibility, determination and an abundance of raw emotion.
Art is all about telling a story beyond the boundaries of words, and the story of this painting is hope.
